Intermediate Bearded Iris. This Iris flowers just above the sword like grey foliage and is more wind tolerant than its taller cousins. The blooms appear in spring and are in tones of pink,violet and burgundy. Plant in a sunny well drained spot with the rhizome exposed. Perennial.
